Background

We are excited to share the wonderful news of a new church plant in Ottawa. Believing in the mandate "love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matthew 22:39), we at Spirit Life Miracle Centre are called to help others in need, easing another's pain and sharing with those less fortunate. We are a voice of safety for the broken and a place of refuge for the weak. As a church, we provide a platform that enables ordinary people to experience God's presence, expect God's promises, and enjoy God's family. Spirit Life Miracle Center is a registered not-for-profit.

Why another church?

Although there are many churches in Ottawa, only 4 percent of the population attends Church services on Sundays. Research has demonstrated that people who attend Church reduce their mortality risk by a massive 55 percent. In the aftermath of COVID-19 and the monumental impact of the death of George Floyd on Black communities, we desire to be that Church that the Black and other visible minorities in Ottawa will discover, belong, and dive in to become fellow spiritual warriors who love people on behalf of God while experiencing God’s presence. We firmly believe that thriving communities are built upon individuals who are driven by the compassion to become the hand of God to love their neighbours. God has called Spirit Life Miracle Center to be the catalyst for fostering healthier and better-connected communities in Ottawa.

Leadership

The twin sisters, Doreen and Doris, are the lead pastors at the Spirit Life Miracle Centre in Ottawa. They are people lovers and servant leaders passionate about God and his people. They have been ministry leaders for over ten years in Canada and internationally. They are called and anointed to empower God's people to experience God's love together and the life-changing power of the Holy Spirit in Canada's capital and beyond.
